Prime Team Performance trains competitive high school athletes on travel teams who want to play in college. Its plans, players and payments lived in Drive folders, spreadsheets and Stripe, all checked by hand. We built one platform where the team, the professionals and the players do the work, so PTP can grow without the busywork growing with it.

Before the platform, PTP ran on Google Drive folders on Franco’s computer, a website where internal work was copied over by hand, and payments in Stripe checked against a spreadsheet. With several dozen athletes a month, keeping track of who paid, who followed the plan and who saw the nutritionist became impossible to do well.

The cost was time. Franco spent his days on small tasks and had none left to think about how to grow. Doubling was possible, he says, but only with much more effort, and it would not have been worth it.

“GIPA gave us one platform to run the whole company, and with it we got back the time to focus on growing.”

Every role got its own view. Players check in each day in under 30 seconds and see their plans, their score and their next session. Nutritionists write meal plans in a form shaped like the ones they already used, and they picked it up fast. Training programs come with video. “A training plan took us about 45 minutes,” Franco says. “Today it should take 15 or 20 at most.”

Today the operation runs from one place, and athlete health data sits behind a secure login where each person sees only what their role allows. The companies PTP sells to ask about privacy, so that became part of the pitch. Franco puts the rest simply. “It saves me at least one to two hours a day,” and “it feels more like an in-house team than someone I hired.”
